Major Highlights of August 2026 Celebrations
1. Andal Tiruvadipuram Utsavam (Aug 5 – Aug 14)
The temple will observe the 10-day-long grand celebrations of Andal Tiruvadipuram Utsavam, commemorating the incarnation of Sri Andal Ammavaru. On August 21 at 6:00 PM, a grand procession of Sri Andal Ammavaru will be conducted along the four Mada Streets.
2. Sravana Upakarma Rituals (August 28)
On the sacred occasion of Sravana Upakarma, processional deities Sri Govindaraja Swamy and Sri Krishna Swamy will be taken in a morning procession to Alwar Theertham located at Kapila Theertham for Snapana Tirumanjanam (holy bath) and Asthanam. Later in the evening, Sri Govindaraja Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi will participate in another Asthanam at the Sri Vaikhanasacharya Temple in R.S. Mada Street.
