TTD plans to grandly celebrate the Ugadi Asthanam event on April 6 inside the Srivari Temple, Tirumala.

As part of the event after daily rituals, Panchanga Sravana program heralding the advent of Sri Vikari Nama Samvatsaram will be conducted at the Bangaru vakili inside the Srivari temple.

The Agama pundits and Archakas and senior TTD officials will conduct Ugadi Asthanam after colourful rituals like new silk robes to moola Virat and utsava idols.

Ahead of Ugadi festival the TTD will perform the Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam event in the temple on April 2.

The TTD has cancelled daily Arjita sevas slated for the day in the Srivari temple.

Formality for Marriage Prathana

1. Devotees who wish to perform Marriage prathana, they have to buy set of garlands and archana set from outside of the temple

2. Inside the temple, devotees need to purchase Rs.55 ticket for Marriage and Archana poojas

3. Devotees should tell the Name, Gothram, Nakshatram to the priest in the Sri Nithya Kalayana Perumal Shrine.

4. Priest will provide one garland which is kept in the pooja after the Archana.

5. Next worship Goddess Komalavalli Thayar

6. Wear the garland, which received from the priest

7. Perform 9 round Pradikshinam in the outer Prakara

8. That’s it, you can leave now from the temple, and keep the garland in the home (Pooja Room)

9. After getting married, both husband and wife should visit this temple with the old garland

10. Purchase garlands and perform Archana in Lord Nithya Kalyana Perumal Sannithanam

Nithya Kalayana Perumal Temple in Thiruvidandhai, Located in ECR, Kanchipuram District, Tamil Nadu, This temple is one of the 108 Divya Desams dedicated to Vishnu and 1000 – 2000 years old temple.

A large temple tank is in front of the temple. This is known as the Kalyana Theertham. There is a separate shrine for Komalavalli Nachiyar. Lord Perumal appears majestically in his standing form facing east. The Vimana above the sanctum sanctorum is called Kalyana Vimanam. The Lord here stands on Adisesha and holds his consort on his left thigh. There is also separate shrine for Andal. The Temple follows Thenacharya Sampradayam

TTD has rolled out online booking of the it’s Kalyana Mandapams through the website http://ttdsevaonline.com/

There are 210 Kalyana Mandapams in Andhra Pradesh and 74 in Telangana states which could be utilized by the devotees for events like Weddings, Upanayanam, namakaranams, Shastipurti, Annaprasanam and Satyanarayana vratam.

Among those in AP, Kalyana mandapams are in Chittoor, 22 in Kadapa, 11 in Kurnool, 22 in Anantapur, 11 in Nellore, 13 in Prakasam, 18 in Guntur, 57 in East Godavari, 6 in Visakhapatnam, 5 in Vizianagaram and 4 in Srikakulam. While in Telangana, 4 in Adilabad, 5 each in Hyderabad, Nalgonda, Kamareddy, Nizamabad and Kodad, 6 each in Sangareddy and Karimnagar, 4 each in Jogipet and Bodhan, 11 in Mahbubnagar, 7 in Khammam and 3 in Hanamkonda.

The devotees could register themselves on the TTD website and later choose their location in the district and state. After selecting the date, they should upload their Aadhaar or driving license and the photograph on the site before payment of prescribed fee. After completing the process, the devotee will get confirmation receipt and automatic SMS from the concerned persons and supervisory staff to make necessary arrangements. The devotee should show the SMS and receipt to conduct their event on their selected date.

The booking of Kalyana Mandapams in AP commenced on March 15 in on-line while those of TS will be enabled in a couple of days.

The Annamalai Hill was Agni (fire) during Kirthayugam, was Manikkam (Emerad) during Threthayugam, was Pon (Gold) during Dwaparayugam and rock during Kaliyugam. There are eight lingams located at the eight directions and provides an octagonal structure to Thiruvannamalai Town. The eight lingams are: Indra Lingam, Agni Lingam, Yama Lingam, Niruthi Lingam, Varuna Lingam, Vayu Lingam, Kubera Lingam and Esanya Lingam. The Adi Annamalai Temple glorified in Dhevaram is located on this path.

Mountain circumambulation is around 14 KM. Lakhs of devotees circumambulate the Hill and get all benefits by praying to Lord Annamalaiyar.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams released press note stating that the annual brahmotsavams in Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple at Anantavaram will be observed from 19th to 22nd March 2019.

TTD has rolled out all arrangements for the annual five day Srivari Panchahnika Salakatla Teppotsavams commencing from March 16 to 20.

The processional deities will ride the majestic float decked up with electrical and flower decorations in the swamy puskrini from shudha Ekadasi day of month Phalguna month till Pournami during these days.

Legends say that Srivari Teppotsavam labelled as Tirupati OdiaThirunal was in vogue since many centuries and Saluva Narasimha Rayudu built a Mani Mandapam in the middle of Pushkarini in 1468.

On the first day Sri Sita Lakshmana sametha Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy, on second day Sri Krishna Swamy and Rukmini and on last three days, Sri Malayappa with Sridevi and Bhudevi will take ride on the celestial float.

TTD has cancelled all the Arjita sevas including Vasantotsavam, Sahasra deepalankara seva on March 16, 17 and arjita Brahmotsavam, Vasantotsavam and Sahasra deepalankara seva on March 18, 19 and 20.
