TTD cancelled Srinivasa Kalyanam in Hyderabad on 17th Feb 2019

TTD has cancelled Srinivasa Kalyanam to be performed at LB Stadium in Hyderabad on February 17 following the deviation of rules by organizers of the celestial event.

In October last, under the Organizer Category, Sri Dattagiri Maharaj Charitable Trust has come forward to perform this religious event in Hyderabad. But the Srinivasa Kalyanam which was to be observed on October 28 was postponed to February 17 this year.

At this juncture, in the name of Secretary of Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam Trust (under Reg.No.BK 4, CS No.418/2018) Sri B Krishnam Raju, handouts and pamphlets learnt to have distributed among devotees stating that those who offer donation for this religious wedding will be provided VIP Break Darshan (L1), Vastram of Lord and Goddess and will be seated on the stage where the celestial Srinivasa Kalyanam will be performed to deities.

As this is completely against the norms, it has been decided by TTD to cancel Srinivasa Kalyanam at LB Stadium in Hyderabad on February 17. TTD never accepts any donations for these weddings and has nothing to do with the donations which were collected by the Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam Trust from devotees.
