Annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kariyamanikya Swamy Temple in Tummuru of Nellore

TTD is all set to celebrate the annual brahmotsavams of Sri Kariyamanikya Swamy temple in Tummuru of Nellore district from May 17 to 26 with Ankurarpanam on May 16 and koil alwar tirumanjanam for the festival is on May 12.

Releasing the wall posters of the temple in his chambers in TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Monday the JEO Sri B.Lakshmikantham said all arrangements have been made for the annual fete.

He said the important days during annual brahmotsavams includes Dhwajarohanam on May 17, Garuda Seva on May 19, Kalyanam on May 22, Rathotsavam on May 23 and Chakrsnanam on May 25 while Pushpayagam will be performed on May 26.

TTD is all set to observe Sri Tyagaraja Swamy Jayanthi festival on May 10 at Tirumala and in Kakarla, the native place of the saint musician.

On May 10, the 252 Tyagaraja Jayanthi Mahotsavam will be observed in Tirumala in big way with eminent artistes hailing from across the country and presenting Tyagaraja Sankeertans in Kalyana Vedika by 6pm.

While in Kakarla of Prakasam district, the celestial Srinivasa Kalyanam will be performed in TTD Dhyana Mandiram by 6pm.

TTD Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Jayanti on 17th May 2019

TTD plans to celebrate Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Jayanti on a grand scale on May 17th.

In the morning flowery tributes will be presented at Vengamamba Brindavana at Tirumala in the morning and later in the evening Malayappa along with both consorts will come to the Padmavathi Parinaya mandapam in the Narayanagiri gardens where unjal seva takes place.

Matrusri Vengamamba Jayanti celebrations will be conducted later in which prominent music exponents will conduct Gosti Gaana of sankeertans penned by Vengamamba.

TTD SV College of Music and Dance Online Admission from May 16, 2016

The TTD-run SV College of Music and Dance has opened admissions online for various courses for the academic year 2019-20 from May16 till July 31.

The college had faculties Of Gathra, Veena, Venu, Violin, Nadaswaram, Dolu, Bharata Natham, Kuchipudi, Harikatha, Mrudangam, Ghatam and offers B.Music, B.Dance, Visharada, Praveena courses besides diploma and certificate regular courses in the SV Nadaswaram school along with evening classes.

Interested students shall apply by obtaining a ₹50 application and should be 8th standard pass for regular courses and 5th standard for evening courses. For more details contact 0877-2264597 during office hours between 10.30am and 5pm.

The annual three day Padmavathi Parinayam will be celebrated in Tirumala from May 13 to 15 in a religious manner.

TTD is gearing up to host the celestial wedding of Sri Malayappa Swamy and His two consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi during these three days in a big way in Narayanagiri Gardens. This annual festival is performed in the evening under the moon light which commences on Navami and concludes on Ekadasi in the month of Vaisakha.

On the first day, Sri Malayappaswami, the festival deity of Lord Venkateswara, arrives in style on Gaja vahanam, second day on Aswa and on final day on Garuda Vahanam, while Sridevi and Bhudevi arrive on separate palanquins during all these three days.
