The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has released the official schedule for major religious festivals and sacred rituals to be observed at the Lord Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala during the month of October 2026.
The primary highlight of the month is the grand Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavams, attracting lakhs of pilgrims from across the globe to the sacred hills.

Major Highlights of October 2026 Celebrations
1. Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavams (Oct 11 – Oct 20)
The nine-day festival kicks off with Ankurarpanam on October 11, followed by daily morning and evening vehicle processions (Vahana Sevas) along the four Mada Streets surrounding the main shrine. The grand festival concludes with the sacred holy bath ceremony, Chakra Snanam, at the Swami Pushkarini tank on October 20.
2. Dual Garuda Seva Processions
Pilgrims visiting Tirumala in October will have two distinct opportunities to witness Lord Malayappa Swamy riding the golden Garuda Vahanam:
- Brahmotsava Garuda Seva (October 16): The most anticipated night of the Navaratri Brahmotsavams, drawing massive crowds of devotees.
- Monthly Pournami Garuda Seva (October 26): Held on the full moon night between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
