One of the most important Hindu festivals especially for married women seeking the longeivity of their spouse, Varalakshmi Vratam will be observed with religious grandeur at Tiruchanoor on August 9.
The processional deity of Sri Padmavathi in all Her divine splendour will be seated on a specially created platform on that day at Asthana Mandapam and Varalakshmi Vratam will be observed between 10 am and 12 noon.
Later in the evening there will be procession of Swarna Ratham along the four mada streets in the evening at 6pm.
TTD has cancelled all arjitha seva and evening VIP break darshan on that auspicious day
