40 வருடங்களுக்கு ஒருமுறை வெளியே எழுந்தருளி பக்தர்களுக்குச் சேவை சாதிக்கும் அத்தி வரதர், இந்த வருடம் (2019) ஜூலை மாதம் 1-ம் தேதி வெளியே வரப்போகிறார்
40 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு ஒருமுறை பெருமாள் மேலே எழுந்தருளுவார். சயன மற்றும் நின்ற கோலமாக 48 நாள்கள் பக்தர்களுக்கு அத்தி வரதர் சேவை சாதிப்பார். ஒரு நாளைக்கு 50 ஆயிரம் பக்தர்கள் வருவார்கள் என்று எதிர்பார்க்க படுகிறது
1979 ஆம் வருடம் அத்தி வரதர் வெளியில் வந்து பக்தர்களுககு காட்சி அளித்தார் , நாற்பது ஆண்டுகள் கழித்து அத்தி வரதர் இந்த வருடம் பக்தர்களுககு காட்சி அளிக்க உள்ளார்

Athi Varadar is the original idol of the Varadaraja Perumal Temple in Kanchipuram, made from wood from a Fig Tree (Athi Maram). Athi Varadar is kept in the pond of the temple, and is raised once in 40 years, so that the devotees can see the Vigraham that was worshipped by the greats. The Vigraham will be next raised in 1st July 2019.
In the year 1979, the Athi Varadar came out from the pond, and forty years later this year Athi Varadhar going to come out from the pond.

Hare Krishna please give the start and end dates of Darshan. Is it from 01-Jul-2019 until 18-Aug-2019 i.e 48 days? We are so eager to take Athi Vardar’s darshan, so please share exact start and end dates so we can make reservations. Is there any mutt/accomodation available near the temple for staying and prasadam?
